Hey guys ! I hope you’re doing well and staying safe.

I just wanted to share a quick encouragement. I apologise it’s been a while, it’s currently exam season, so unfortunately my posts haven’t been as consistent as I would’ve wanted! However, it’s all good!

I don’t know about you, but I used to think that when I gave my life to Christ everything would be rosy and perfect. In fact it’s quite the opposite, sometimes when things are difficult I even wonder, God “where you at?”.

This past week I was just having one of those weeks, I was exhausted, I was stressed, I was struggling to even find the right words to pray and to say to God. There was so much going on, I really did feel overwhelmed. However, God reminded me of two scriptures

1. Philippians 4:7 “and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”

2. John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But be of good cheer! I have overcome the world.

It’s only hit me now as I write this blog post, they were both linked to peace, and peace being found in Christ Jesus. Not in my own mind. Not in my own will. But in HIM! No matter what happens, though things may be tough (and sometimes they will be difficult. Jesus was honest and He told us). But peace is found in Him. Isaiah 9:6 tells us Jesus is the prince of peace.

So yes! This is just a small encouragement. Sometimes life doesn’t go our way, things happen. But find your peace in God! Be reminded that Jesus has already overcome the world. That this too, shall pass.
