Merry Christmas to you! And I hope you are staying safe. I couldn’t start my day without thanking God. We know that Jesus wasn’t actually born on the 25th December. We also know that 25th December was actually a pagan holiday that we now celebrate Jesus’ birth. In a time where it can often be stressful with the over commercialisation of the holiday season, I just wanted to take a few minutes to reflect.

Sometimes I find it hard to wrap my head around that Christ who was seated on the right hand of the father, squeezed His greatness and majesty into the body of a baby. The Jews at the time thought that the messiah would come as a mighty warrior, who would overthrow the Roman army. They thought he would come loudly with horses and huge armour. Little did they know the messiah would come as a baby. No palace but a stable. His birth was not revealed to the masses but to both the shepherds (who were seen as lower class) and wise men. He came for all, and all came to worship Him.

Though we celebrate Christmas as a day, but know that Gods love is lasting. He is still with us.

He is wonderful. He is our counsellor, He is mighty God, an everlasting father and the prince of peace. The peace which lasts on the inside even in the midst of a storm.
So I pray you are blessed, and that you enjoy this day the best you can. Be reminded and encouraged that Jesus loves you! ♥️.
May God bless you !
