Happy Friday! And welcome to the return of Feature Friday.
This week I am so happy to announce that I have been privileged to become the first ambassador of Hosea Clothing. Hosea Clothing is a Christian brand and in today’s post I am going to tell you about their passions and why they got started.
Hosea Clothing started the minimalist clothing on Instagram in 2017, with the desire to spread the light of Christ through fashion.
Their two main objectives are:
- To empower believers in their faith through Christian Apparel
- For their Urban Christian Clothing to be used as a tool to reach out to the lost.
When I first heard of Hosea Clothing I was immediately attracted to the minimalist style and the fact it would display simple words such as ‘Disciple’.
“We’d hope that our customers would run into questions like this…
“I love your hoodie. Where’d you get it from?”
To which our customers can start talking about us and most importantly their faith!
Thus helping our customers to share the gospel to their families’, friends and co-workers.”
Sometimes we may overcomplicate sharing the gospel and bringing people to Christ. Yes, sometimes we can grab a mic and travel on the streets, yes sometimes we can stand handing out flyers, but sharing Jesus can start with a conversation. And I love how their clothes can even spark this.
Their key verse is Matthew 5:16 “Let your light shine before others so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven” I particularly love this because it is about letting your light shine, for others to see and glorify GOD. This is to teach us that as Christians we need to be bold enough to shine the light that God has placed within us, but to be humble enough to give God the glory. Though God may put a gift within you, or may shine within you, the Glory always goes back to Him!
