Hey guys, hope you’re doing well today!
I’m going to share what I’m calling ‘The Sarah Mentality’.
10 Then one of them said, “I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son.” Now Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, which was behind him. 11 Abraham and Sarah were already very old, and Sarah was past the age of childbearing. 12 So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, “After I am worn out and my lord is old, will I now have this pleasure?”
Sarah was told that she would have a child , and she laughed. She looked at her present circumstances and said “nope!” It could never. And though we can use her as an example, but even is we limit by our present. But God has plans for greater. God has greater than our expectations. God wants to do more with you.
Often God will reveal a greater purpose for your life, or even you will have a dream of greatness or something better than your today. But your view of today limits you of seeing further. You’re blinded by the present and not seeing the prospect of a better future for yourself.
“How could I ever achieve this, when I don’t have anything right now?”
God is not limited by our human abilities , or by nature. Have you ever wondered what a miracle actually is? It’s something that defies nature , and the way things are. God is in the business of doing greater than we ever think, hope or imagine.
He is not limited by your present. But mostly our mind blocks us from thinking greater. God wants to do more with you and for you, but will your unbelief stop Him? Stop yourself?
Don’t let what you can see determine what you could be in the future!
