Trust the process [part 2]

Hey guys!

Sorry that this weeks post came a little later than planned. I literally checked the date and realised, it’s already Thursday and I hadn’t posted anything for this week. I hope you’re doing well however.

I was thinking,( just as I finished posting Trust the post (part 1) last week), of a seed. When you plant a seed, you begin to water it, give it enough sunshine, make sure the soil has enough nutrients. However, just because you don’t see the results straight away doesn’t mean you stop watering. Just because you don’t get fruit right away doesn’t mean you should stop looking after it.

It’s the same with a lot of our goals and our ideas and desires. Just because it doesn’t look like it’s growing quick enough, doesn’t mean you should give up or stop trying. Yes there are times we should maybe try a different method. For example if the plant is not very healthy, change fertiliser, or adjust the method of watering. But that doesn’t mean you’re giving up on it.

The same way I believe even God doesn’t give up on us. There was an illustration that God showed the prophet Jeremiah about a potter and clay

The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying: “Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear My words.” Then I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something at the wheel. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make. Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying: “O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter?” says the LORD. “Look, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel!”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭18:1-6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

It’s a beautiful illustration because when You think about it, that’s what God is doing to us. Maybe we might get a few bumps and scrapes along the way but God still works on us, He still cares for us! But in that process sometimes it might feel like we’re too messed up for God to work with us. That it’s too late for you. Never ever ever. Just because God might not be on your time. Doesn’t mean He’s not on time! I’m gonna need you to read that again , as much as you need to hear it.

So I’m not sure what area this may apply to in your life, but give it to God. Continue praying without ceasing, keep working and don’t give up ! Don’t give up on your dreams, and your goals. It might not be going at the speed that you want, but it will eventually get there so long as you keep up! Stay consistent.

May God bless you ♥️

    Hello, TK

You reiterated some points my pastor mentioned during his sermon, tonight.

God doesn’t give up on us regardless of how far we’ve strayed.

He cares about us in unfathomable ways. I choose to remain consistent in the knowledge of these truths.

    Thanks for putting this up.

By the way, I’m doing well. I am excellent and full of glory.
